It crushes their theory of angry Democrats! The Republicans (Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Mueller, Session etc) are holding up the rule of law against the president. Mueller even goes so far to detail that he believes the Comey memos over the president. Why? The president is a pathological liar and Comey has only served with integrity and honor. Sure Comey made mistakes, but so have most people that are caught up in a political storm.
