Agree. & he's steadfastly advancing the 3rd one by discouraging others to ignore subpoenas.

Agree with this rationale although it should also be noted they're likely just blindly following their leader.

Which is also a reason for not taking their leader seriously which is even more problematic.

No surprise there - neither does Trump.

Ken
All these visions of what others believe and what they don't believe.
What will they think when the indictments of the conspirators who planned for years to subvert an election rain down like heavy lead?

Will they still find fault in our President when it's proven that this plot existed and was carried out, when those people are tried in courts and found guilty? When
they are tried for sedition?...when they go to jail?

I predict so. The animus towards the strong leader circles the country like a child whining about their lunchbox
containing two cookies instead of three. I do believe it's psychological and is based on hatred of authority. Just my two cents.

You'll have to ask Trump that. He's not out of the woods - not even close. There's what? - 17 continuing investigations into Trump and his campaign - several of them handed off by Mueller:

The (fantasy) of the IG report?

I have a question particularly since the fantasists prefer to keep this information top secret.

Upon completion of Special Counsel Mueller's investigations, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released a press release where he stated:

"I welcome the announcement that the Special Counsel has finally completed his investigation into Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 elections. Many Republicans have long believed that Russia poses a significant threat to American interests."

https://www.republicanleader.senate....uellers-report

My question is why it took him so long to acknowledge that "Russia poses a significant threat to American interests" when he was informed that all US intelligence agencies had been saying the same regarding Russian interference in US elections for several years?

Why wasn't he interested when then-President Obama wanted him to take a stand & defend American interests?

Quote:
Denis McDonough was White House chief of staff from 2013 to 2017.

I have watched with concern the tone, substance and trajectory of the national debate about Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. I write today to set the record straight about the events of last fall and, more important, to ensure that we as a nation do not lose sight of what happened — and what we must do to preserve our democracy. ...
Obama stood up to Russian interference. Now Trump must follow through.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...=.284e15f9311a

Why is Mr. Trump more interested in defending his own personal interests rather than defending American interests?

Why doesn't he take his role as POTUS more seriously?

He's no longer a producer/host/actor on a Reality TV Show, nor is he a petty dictator of a family business run like his own private fiefdom.
