"If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the president clearly DID NOT commit obstruction of justice, we would state do." - Mueller report
So much for the Trumpers celebrating "total exoneration" LOL.
You did not include the full comment, you merely copied from the tweet - which also did not include the full comment. Those of us listening in real time heard the comment in full. It's easy enough to find online.... don't be so quick to take everything as is until you do a small bit of checking on your own, and listening/watching more than one source.
So obstruction does not include 'covering' up a crime. Obstruction would include lying to Congress or Mueller who were investigating the potential crime.
You don't get charged with 'obstructing a crime'...that's not how it works.
You get charged with obstructing the 'investigation'.
Spin it however you like. The facts are that despite his best efforts to come up with an obstruction charge, Robert Mueller determined there was no basis for concluding that justice had been obstructed by Trump.
A sitting president can't be indicted so it's up to Congress and the voters. Mueller considered that factor. Russia is that you?
Give it up for heavens sake. What they can do and will do are 2 different things and it is not up to the voters at all. It is up to them as to whether he will be re-elected but not whether he is impeached
Covering up and obstructing a crime that was not charged. How can you obstruct a crime when there was none found?
Any future talk by these people along these lines is pure, undefiled nonsense, and nothing more.
Morality and criminality don't need to be equal. You continue to leave out Congress and the American voters public view. Law enforcement/criminality is not the main factor. Why? We already know a sitting president can't be indicted. We already read the Barr summary of no new charges weeks ago. To not consider that the American public and Congress have a right to come up with their own conclusion is nonsense.
