Barr is Mueller's boss and friend. So it's not unusual that he would hesitate in speaking negatively about his boss especially given the media feeding frenzy around this investigation.
Mueller says in his report:
"(T)he conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and accords with the principle that no person is above the law."
This is on Barr, not Mueller.

I thought the NY Times article debunked its own headline further down in the article? They have a habit of doing that. Sounds like the problem is Mueller doesn't like the way the presstitutes are treating him, nothing to do with facts in the report.

"The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office's work and conclusions," Mueller wrote, according to the Post.

What a gentleman-like way to say that Barr is a lying sack of crap.

AGAIN....this is the Justice Department's statements on this....NOT the Special Counsel Robert Mueller statements

“The special counsel emphasized that nothing in the attorney general’s March 24 letter was inaccurate or misleading,” a Justice Department spokeswoman, Kerri Kupec, said in response to a request for comment made on Tuesday afternoon. A spokesman for the special counsel’s office declined to comment.
Barr's Justice Dept is is lying their A** off. This has set up a congressional investigation into Barr and the impeachment of that lying piece of sh**

proof they are lying?

you realize you need to provide proof of such a wild claim right?

and why did they decline to comment if they want to speak out against what they feel is wrong?

The Washington Post article clearly says that Mueller did not feel the summary was inaccurate

you are sadly falling for clickbait articles

If Mueller can't handle the media misrepresentation, maybe he will be a little more sympathetic toward the way Trump is misrepresented 24/7. Hard to believe Mueller was FBI director yet still so thin skinned. Suck it up buttercup.

Well the Special Counsel not verifying their statement is a good clue. Robert Mueller taking the action of memorializing his views in a letter...which is now out in the open is also a good clue. What I am getting out of this story is that Mueller is pissed and Barr is toast.

Mueller's letter was dated 3/27. Barr testified before Congress on 4/10 that he did not know whether Mueller agreed with his "summary" or not. Barr committed provable perjury, and Nadler just tweeted as much. Read it for yourself.

Barr has his DOJ doing a wild dance trying to get out of the fire. He won't make it.
