Bernie and his wife gave 3.4% out of their income to charity. I didn't make their income and contributed more to charity percentage of income and dollar wise than this hypocrite and his wife. He talks about caring for the poor and needy, but doesn't follow his own espoused principles of charity.
I'm watching his town hall right now and I can't believe how little substance he has. All he is doing is giving candy out to children. When asked how to pay for it he starts going into bernieland, blaming Amazon, blaming Trump, blaming everyone. Not one solid plan on how his candy will be paid for.

But I thought social Democrats, or progressives, were all about helping people. May I ask what you are personally doing to help support the less fortunate since you don't believe in charity?
I, for example, as a conservative, donate to animal rescue groups, medical research companies, the local homeless shelter, my synagogue, my alma mater, a vets organization, and of course special funds to help in natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, etc. As far as personal time, I volunteer tutor to teenagers whose 1st language isn't English.
It just strikes me odd that someone who is focused on helping low income or needy people would be proud of the fact that he doesn't give a penny to charity! My parents neighbors are the same way.....they are leftists and also brag they they haven't given a penny to charity in 20 years. I just don't get it.

Have you noticed how they squealed like stuck pigs when Trump suggested he might send the illegal invaders to sanctuary cities and states? Pelosi's reaction speaks volumes.
