No boy has a right to walk into an occupied girl's bathroom, period.
Actually, in some places they do. In this school they didn’t, however that is not a valid reason to kick one of them in the groin, potentially doing serious damage.

Boys entering the girls and vice- versa was rather common when I was in high school, in the 70’s.
Also happened in locker rooms. Then there was the keyhole in the door between the girl’s locker and pool. Boys swam naked for reasons I never quite understood. It was common knowledge the girls would elbow their way to the keyhole. Some guys pranced for the audience. Other covered.
There were modesty curtains covering each changing booth in the girl’s locker room.
Never saw a naked person in the girls locker or toilet facilities.
Cell phones/ selfies had not been invented.
I have no recollection these situations were ever accelerated to the school faculty.
Now that is an interesting scenario, they won't suspend the boys because they would have to suspend the transgender student. Instead they suspend the girl who kneed the boy in the crotch who by all rights is the only person is this entire scenario that has been violated.
I agree that the girl is the only victim here and now she has been punished by the school for it. If I was her parent I would raise some serious Cain over this.
Having said that I applaud the boys for taking a stand against this trans genders in the bathroom thing. Smart way to corner the officials and make their liberal policy unworkable. Thumbs up to these young Americans
