I have zero care the party.

I just think the entire medical system is not screwed up, but is horribly inefficient.

Making money is the motivation for these drugs, lots of money is also dumped in drugs that end up not being approved for the market, so companies got to make it up somewhere.

Canada? and other countries essentially make a bulk purchase, like Walmart, thus can offer at a lower price, and drug companies dealing with such a large, yet guaranteed customer, are all the more willing to negotiate.

I expect the elected officials to look out for the voter, so while I have not read the details of this, if this is in the voter/resident's best interest, I am all for it. If the US companies want to compete, they are more than free to do so.

He can’t. Importation of goods is under federal purview.

Think these newbies hate government as a whole and want to be kings and just rule as see fit.

Florida governor DeSantis proposal to import Canadian prescription drugs

Excellent idea, if the Federal government would allow it (it won't, until the Democrats take the White House and the Senate). Strange that a Republican is championing the idea. DaSantis' share of political donations must be less than he expected. The drug lobby will take notes and make a correction, I suppose.

I think all of the states should have this. Good for him for trying to help his people.
