Yeah, she missed the mark with that one. I know what she was going for, trying to characterize the "fun non-custodial dad" that is not even so much the norm anymore, since many, many couples share joint custody. She is generally well-spoken and I was surprised by this lapse.
I disagree with that. I was disappointed in his presidency but I always thought the Obama's conducted themselves with class and dignity.
Beyond the comment you're referencing, the Michelle Obama who has revealed herself in recent months is unrecognizable to me. Maybe she really is mean-spirited and it didn't come out until now, but it's been disappointing to see.
No one is more LOW Class than Trump. He can convince the evangelicals but he can’t convince me. Only a low class has 20 women making sexual assault charges. Not to mention the charity work he never does. Don’t forget about all of the working people he has stiffed over the years. Trump is all about himself and always will be.
Michelle Obama has become such a miserable and petty woman, it’s so disappointing to see. She once impressed me as someone truly above such antics ... because she once was. Now? Not so much.
Heh - well she probably didn't mean to insult "divorced dads" generally or even begin to put them in the low-life category of Donald Trump, because you have be to a true one-of-a-kind to meet that low bar set by Trump, but the sick part I totally get:
Quote:
"but then you get sick — that's what America is going through....now."
America is definitely sick right now - sadly, the sewer-level bar set by Trump is now considered "normal" so anesthesized are people these days to self-servedness, immorality and lack of ethics.
