So in your view, doctors are only in the profession to make money? Then good riddance to them. I hope they do go into plumbing, because I don't want to be treated by a doctor who cares nothing of my health except for how much it can enrich him or her. Those people don't belong in medicine to begin with.
No one said they do it only to make money. NO ONE.
OP is an interesting topic and it is a topic many people care about.
With free universal health care,
We have covered this over and over and over. No one is pretending anything is free. You have no place to call me out on this when you start off dishonest like this.
Actually, with preventative care under a universal healthcare system people would actually take better care of themselves because they could get screening to detect things before they become serious. That's what happened for me under the ACA. The yearly tests and screenings that the ACA implemented detected a problem that could have become quite serious if not caught early. Before the ACA I had no insurance, so when this condition grew into a problem I would have had no way to afford treatment.
People have "incentive" to remain healthy precisely because they can afford to do so, not the other way around.
And there it is folks.
Gone is your ability to be able to claim any altruism or moral superiority re your support for the ACA.
You support it because you benefit from it personally, you need it.
You can claim that you would support it even if you didn't have the need...but you do have the need, and It's easy to say something that won't be tested.

Again, if you want to discuss, quote my ENTIRE post.
Yes, I absolutely call you out for being a you know what.
You said doctors income is not a concern, I called you out for that. No more/less.
Doctors income is absolutely a concern and a fair topic to discuss.

Me and tens of millions of other Americans. Why do you want millions of Americans to not be able to afford healthcare? And yes, I understand the ACA was good for some people and not good for others. Which only points out that our current system is flawed because with or without the ACA, millions of Americans are left out of healthcare.
You make a great argument here for some form of universal healthcare. Well done!

I don’t think so, they’ll probably end up choosing a more lucrative career such as a plumber. What we’ll end up having is three stooges for doctors like in Canada.
Do you honestly believe $$$ is the sole motivating factor for career choices? There are real estate agents making far more $$$ with far less education than the average doctor, surely anyone smart enough to be accepted to medical school can figure that out. WHY do you think people become doctors rather than selling houses?
Funny doctors that I’ve done work for all owned expensive homes and cars. So I think salaries in general are an issue with doctors.
It comes with the turf. Sure, a lot of Doctors make good money, they earn it, but a lot make modest money. My one Doctor just bought his first home, nothing special, but he is on cloud 9 and fixing it up.
Not all Doctors work in Beverly Hills and do boob jobs, most make ok money, but not in buckets. The current insurance restraints are crippling them even more.
