They all do. They just won't all publicly admit it.

The left will do the most unscrupulous things to get a single vote.

anyone who advocates that terrorists should be able to vote has no business being president.

Voting rights should be suspended for those incarcerated whether they are actually guilty or not. They get out, they can vote again.

When you are a convicted felon there is a price to pay. Your freedom and your right to vote among other things.

Well yes, and no.

I heard Bernie's comments on the matter.

He wasn't so much advocating that low life criminals deserve to vote, but that limiting people's rights to vote is a snowball heading down hill.

We already force certain groups to produce ID, or prove they live within the precinct, or are citizens, or other sometimes difficult to prove things for certain groups of people. De facto, these hurdles deprive people of the right to vote.

Sander's point was where does it stop? With Muslims? With Italians? With the Japanese? With white supremacists? With Trans Genders? With Latino's?

Sure, it sounds good when you say "don't let a felon vote". But when you restrict the right to vote, in contradiction of our Constitution, it creates a problem that none of us which to be the victim of.

I have mixed feelings about this one yes, everyone has the right to vote but going to prison you’ve lost those rights. Once you start letting the government take away anyone’s rights even of those in prison, then they will never stop.

Love, someone who was both at the Boston Marathon bombing and left the Stata Center less than 5 minutes before Sargent Collier (my neighbor) was killed
Are you serious ? If the kids from that shot up Columbine and Sandy Hook were still alive and in prison, you think they are entitled to vote ? Should Nicolas Cruz ? I'm just trying to wrap my head around this type of thinking. Can you explain ?

Using a broad brush to paint half the population is evidence of concrete thinking.

There are endless brands within each party. including Libertarian. There's a reason why there are more Unaffiliated/Independents than either Republicans or Democrats or Libertarians.

Vermont and Maine both allow convicted felons to vote from prison. Most felons, however, do not exercise that right.

Most states restore voting rights once the sentence has been served or when parole is completed.
