Democrats are not too smart. Going after Trump for obstruction when there was no collusion and conspiracy with Russia is like trying to impeach Nixon for obstruction when Watergate break-in NEVER HAPPENED.

FBI Director Comey under oath to Congress said Trump wasn't personally under investigation. So President has constitutional powers as the sole head of the branch, to fire pretty much anyone for pretty much any reason, as well as to determine how resources should be used, and to decide on what executive employees should and should not focus. With the exception of per se illegal actions (e.g. perjury or bribery).

Congress should have done the investigation (and they did) and not rely on a special counselor that works and reports only to the DOJ. A President has constitutional powers to decide in what way and how an investigation will go and when to drop it.....he is the Chief Prosecutor of the Nation, he has prosecutorial discretion on every investigation in the executive branch.

If Congress wants to investigate the President without any jurisdiction from the President then Congress has to do the investigation on their branch NOT the executive branch. A President can't surrender his constitutional powers under the executive branch just because there is an investigation in the DOJ.

That was obvious during the 2016 campaign.

please, tell us some more of your Trump hate and let us know your real unbias and neutral opinion about the law. If he is a loser, what are the Democrats who nominated Hillary in 2016 and she outspent Trump 3 to 1 and she lost 30 states to 20 States to Trump?

Warren is behind in the polls big time and she needs to say something that in the long run helps Trump but throws red meat to the base.

The Constitution gives the President, the TOP PROSECUTOR of the land prosecutorial discretion in how an investigation in his branch will be conducted and what resources should be spent and when it's time to close it down. Those are his powers. If Congress wants to investigate the President then they should do their own investigation in their branch.

If you are investigating the President, you don't use the DOJ. You use Congress. That's the constitution.
Warren is just playing politics and to her base. She is clueless about the constitution.

Just listed to Bernie and he definitely said that the Congress needs to investigate as does the Senate which is the prelude to any impeachment, btw. He also states that the other issues concerning the American people should be addressed as well. This is a given and a no brainer. Candidates have all the opportunities and time needed to talk about their stances on issues without out it interfering with Congress doing its due diligence. Don't let a BS right wing talking point deter and bamboozle the rule of law and balance of power.
