Trump then whined about it.

In movies, propaganda and political espionage are so devious and meticulous, but some hero always manages to overcome it and save the day.

In the real world, Twitter/Facebook bots repeat a slew of blatant rhetoric and easily disprovable lies and it's a Tuesday on Fox News.
