My wife of the time got pregnant while on birth control. What part of a simple sentence stating that none of those are fool proof did you miss?
Men do not have to worry about carrying a baby around in their body for nine months.. and they are notorious for NOT accepting responsibility...…...
Why, as a woman, would you pick someone who is "notorious for not accepting responsibility?" Why wouldn't you pick a better partner? Why wouldn't you make sure you are using 2 methods of BC? Why aren't women being proactive?
Yet 50% of all abortions are because not 1 form of BC was used by either partner. And no, these abortions are not from teens. The majority are from women in their 20s and 30s.
So why are so many women doing NOTHING to prevent pregnancy? Easy. Because they are getting abortions.
19% of all pregnancies end in abortion
40% of all unintended pregnancies (miscarriages excluded) end in abortion
How about we make sterilization an easy option for women (and men) who want it. Make birth control available and free for everyone, ramp up sex ed instead of preaching abstinence. And lets push the male birth control pill and RISUG. Get it on the market. https://www.healthline.com/health-ne...l-pill-for-men
Sex ed has been taught in schools for decades. The irresponsible will just never be responsible and will always blame others. If a woman can't say no to sex without BC that makes her an uncontrollable **** IMO. The only way she could get pregnant if she says no is rape and that's a crime.
Anyone can go get a condom. And if you can't afford a condom? You shouldn't be having sex.
Thanks for your opinion.
My opinion is your solution (buy condoms or refrain from sex) promotes the need for abortion, just like preaching abstinence. It is proven not to be effective in preventing unwanted pregnancy.
The idea of castration is just asinine.
I think the better solution is to provide more and better sex education, make birth control (all forms) available, cheap or free and increase safe sex by expanding choices for male contraception.

It's one way to get back at Republican male legislators who want to pass a law that will give women life in prison or death who get abortions.
