That's a little out of context for my intent.

I'm not saying the majority equals right. I am saying that usually, when a person has a problem with everyone else, in this case the general media, who is rated well by agencies that do so, the problem isn't with them, it's usually with the person that disagrees.

It's like men who think the majority of women are horrible (AND vice versa), it's not women, it's the guy (or gal when flipped).

It's like you distrusting "doctors." To me that's silly to distrust a wide ranging group of individuals.

So I'm sure many will take it out of context on purpose and run with it. Such is the internet.

Your first bolded statement in the post above speaks for itself. Majority media must be right.

as to your swipe at me about my doctors thread, you obviously didn't read the whole thread or my comments on the thread. I didn't at all say what you asserted, but "I'm sure many will take it out of context and run with it. Such is the internet".

No. I am not saying majority media must be right.

I am saying that media which is reviewed by multiple agencies to be fair and a high accuracy rate is reliable for news.

No. multiple agencies assessments don't mean the news the media reports is accurate. accurate news makes news accurate.

the rating agencies without exception said mortgage backed securities were risk free investments, AAA rated, in 2006. we all know how those rating agencies' assessments turned out for investors in those securities, including for the banks who issued them.

I agree that most media seems to lean left, and does so with spin and omissions of facts which shouldn't be allowed or tolerated. Unbiased news please.

Again. Not what I am saying.
