So, I guess this just proves Trump is destroying our democracy, is a dictator blah blah blah....a bunch of relative peons can snub him and the media reports on it and a bunch of people can discuss it on the internet including piles of negative commentary about El Cheeto....and nobody got in trouble.

Just a reminder to the pathetic whiners out there that although we may not like Trump, in fact hate the guy, all this talk about dictatorships, Nazis etc. is grotesque and ignorant in it's offensiveness.

Then again, a bunch of you would probably compare having to walk an extra 100 feet due to the parking lot being full to get into the mall some sort of hardship akin to the Trail of Tears.

Here’s a tweet from Larry Sabato, of UVA.

You know what I heard that weekend? Not one single comment about Robert E. Lee. But I did hear racial slurs and the chants, "Jews will not replace us!" and "Into the ovens!" Very fine people, indeed.

What I do know is that avowed white racists felt that Trump was supporting their cause by his “good beople on both sides” idiocy.

Meanwhile, kudos to the Baylor women's basketball team, who WILL attend a ceremony with Trump involved!

They will miss out on a lifetime experience of meeting the president of the country and spending some time in the White House.

They lose.

They chose not to be a political prop. Their call.

Visits to the White House used to be non-partisan, but Trump is a different animal, and positively hated by most college kids, especially POC.

The mens basketball team is in a very tricky situation. The entire university remembers well what happened at the Neo Nazi rally that took place in their hometown, and if Trump had of done what every other politician would have done, and strongly condemned what took place, this team would probably be headed to the White House.

But he didn't.

There are currently living in the United States, probably well over 10,000 national championship winners in one NCAA sport or another. I know some of them, it's not like oh...walking on the moon.

So, I'm sorry if you're a fan, I could care less who won.....but relative to folks visiting the freakin' white house like the Pope, Buzz Aldrin, Chancellor of Germany or even Tom Brady....they're peons.

If you don't like it then go wrap yourself in your favorite team blanky and suck you thumb.

"University of Virginia basketball team will not celebrate championship at the White House "

It's to bad that Texas Tech got cold feet (or whatever), they should have won. I'm sure they would have been delighted to go to the White House.

So true, and who headed up Baylor when the mens football team was busy gang raping female students?

None other than Kenneth Starr, the former purveyor of purity for the Republican Party when Sweet Willie was in the Big House.
