You act as if the government is placing collected SS funds in a separate account, rather than including every penny collected in the general fund and spending every penny of it on the latest flavor de jour spending project.

Bernie Sanders is NOT against small to medium businesses.. he is against multi nationals that will do everything to earn money and leave nothing in taxes to the society that lets them earn their profits!

This translates to:

Theft is OK as long as government is the one committing the theft.

Edited to add: According to your last sentence, Bernie and the government will be picking winners and losers of the tax scam. Of course there is nothing in that scenario which leaves a potential to punish one's political enemies, huh?

They aren't, that is true. It would at least stop the excuses about how it's going to run out of money.

We come up with all the money we want to spend for the military and never a word about paying for it. So if you want to argue that S.S. is going to run out of money so we have to cut, you can pay up more in taxes.

When someone like China steals intellectual property a business quickly runs to the government to address their grievances. That costs money. If you want to argue for a completely free range economy where anyone can steal anything, argue it but you aren't going to get anywhere.

You could that, or you could balance the budget. At least Sanders is honest about the fact that he would fund his programs by raising taxes.

No, I did not say anything about any separate accounts. Europeans do that, not us.
