No, there is not. Tariffs promote inefficient economic activity.

Thank fully Trump has had the courage no other President has had to take on China.

Trump says tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods will increase to 25% on Friday
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/05/trum...on-friday.html

Major sticking points between the U.S. and China have been intellectual property theft and forced technology transfers. There has also been disagreement as to whether tariffs should be removed or remain in place as an enforcement mechanism.

Biden's son Hunter made deal with Bank of China during father's trip

Joe Biden's son Hunter flew to China on an official visit by his father in 2013 and ended up inking a deal for his hedge fund with the Bank of China within days of the visit.
Hunter Biden accompanied his father aboard Air Force Two on a visit to China, where the vice president met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Everyone and everything is a “threat to USA”.
And USA is not a threat to anyone.

Agree?

You want efficiency? Fine, we can dump all our industrial waste in our oceans, rivers and streams, just like they do in China. We can burn our solid industrial waste as well. We can dig holes in the ground and bury our most hazardous waste. We can fuel our factories with 100% coal instead of trying to find cleaner alternatives. After all, we won't have time to research and develop anything since we are going to be spending all our time slaving away to get those widgets made.

And the idea that China is efficient is laughable. They don't have to be efficient when there are over a billion people for their communist government to exploit.

They say that's a definition of insanity, when you keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting each time to get a different result, even though it has always failed.

Not with that "asthma" problem...

"As a result of a physical exam on April 5, 1968, Joe Biden was classified 1-Y and disqualified from service because of asthma as a teenager,"

Trump is jacking up tariffs on China?

I though we were "this close" to that huge trade agreement. What happened?
