And the idea that China is efficient is laughable. They don't have to be efficient when there are over a billion people for their communist government to exploit.
It doesnít matter if China is efficient or not. What matters is we use our assets most efficiently. That means trading for goods that are more economical to trade for and not having assets tied up manufacturing goods we donít need to manufacture.

Agree?
I agree that would be the position many communist would take in your first sentence. The second sentence is less likely.
Freedom and democracy is a threat to communist/dictators and their system wherever it comes from and the US is a notable target of their concern.

Back in the 80's Trump thought the Japanese were a threat. Turns out they weren't really much of a threat after all.

Now Trump thinks the Chinese are a threat. Guess how that one's gonna turn out too?

China is just a bigger version of Japan.

That would be false !!!

China is communist. Japan isn't and that's just the starting point of why they aren't a smaller version of China. Today China is seeking world domination through economic power. Is Japan ? No.
Maybe someone will send this message to Biden and get him up to speed so he can inform the democrats.

China has zero history - and that's going back thousands of years - of trying to do anything remotely resembling world domination. For thousands of years they've been more or less content to stay within the general confines of their general geographic area. There's pretty much zero chance of them trying to take over the world, in any form.

China laid out their strategy for all to see.
If people won't listen when it comes straight from the horses mouth that's on them.

One belt one road. ( that's not a two directional hwy. )

China 2025 ( that's not promoting manufacturing outside of China )

5 G roll out ( Gives China access to all data in the world to use as they see fit, think monopoly )

Democrats and GOP elites don't normally object. They see nothing wrong with the USA becoming a Chinees vassal state. As long as they kowtow and remain the elite they have nothing to lose.

Bidens son must have a sweet deal with China.

And WHERE does the Trump clan manufacture its products?

Trump's a bigger threat to US taxpayers than China, he's forcing us to pay to bailout the industriew his tariffs have hurt and we'll be paying more $$$ for consumer goods while the retailers who sell them pay ZERO taxers on their profits.

Thanks for NOTHING Donny!

Absolutely none of that is an indication that the Chinese want to take over the world. Your examples are akin to claiming that, somewhere around 1930, the Chinese would be planning on taking over the world because they are introducing automatic transmissions in their cars. Industry and technological modernization have nothing to do with wanting to take over the world. It's nothing more than right-wing paranoia.
