My taxes went down this year. I paid less than last year. I am not wealthy. Not by a long shot. So please don't speak for me as if you have a clue.

And because of the tariffs which benefit US manufacturers, I was able to negotiate for a nice bump in my wage. But I suppose you think that's a bad thing too. You're likely frustrated because you live in the open air asylum of California. Not my problem, and Trump is not forcing you to live in a place that is bad for your general well being.

Subsidizing and tariffs are different things.
The US subsidizes farmers too, and China imports/imported lots of soybeans, chicken, beef, lobsters... from the US.
China lowered tariffs because of the tariffs Trump put in place.

Of course the middle class is happy with their tax cuts, the return of manufacturing and other high paying jobs lost under Obama, and what their 401Ks are doing in the stock market.

Trump's policies are working for them.

Trump still winning. Democrats still Bleating & hoping for American failure.

MAGA!

There's a big difference between taxes for do nothing social programs that hold people down, and taxes that support one's nation and domestic manufacturing base.

Thank fully Trump has had the courage no other President has had to take on China.

Trump says tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods will increase to 25% on Friday

Major sticking points between the U.S. and China have been intellectual property theft and forced technology transfers. There has also been disagreement as to whether tariffs should be removed or remain in place as an enforcement mechanism.

Biden's son Hunter made deal with Bank of China during father's trip
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...hers-trip.html

Joe Biden's son Hunter flew to China on an official visit by his father in 2013 and ended up inking a deal for his hedge fund with the Bank of China within days of the visit.
Hunter Biden accompanied his father aboard Air Force Two on a visit to China, where the vice president met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The only people paying those tariffs are you and me. Trump deal going no where. Trump seeing it not moving at a pace to be able to change the Mueller report. Trump is running scared.

So let's see. The last time Trump had a trade war with China he had to bail out Farmers to the tune of $12 Billion. Now with his threat of a 25% tariff, I wonder who will need bailing out next and how much?
