Foolish Biden doesn't see China as a threat. Thankfully the Trump admin. does as tariffs increase to 25% Friday to encourage a China deal.

Biden is making the same mistake with China Obama made with Russia.
Its highly likely the billion dollar loan to his son from China is influencing Sleepy Joe.
Is Sleepy Joe nodding off or giving the nod to more corruption to come ?

Thank fully Trump has had the courage no other President has had to take on China.

Trump says tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods will increase to 25% on Friday

Major sticking points between the U.S. and China have been intellectual property theft and forced technology transfers. There has also been disagreement as to whether tariffs should be removed or remain in place as an enforcement mechanism.

Biden's son Hunter made deal with Bank of China during father's trip

Joe Biden's son Hunter flew to China on an official visit by his father in 2013 and ended up inking a deal for his hedge fund with the Bank of China within days of the visit.
Hunter Biden accompanied his father aboard Air Force Two on a visit to China, where the vice president met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Biden says he doesn't think that China is a threat because Biden thinks that the USA has the tools to deal with China.

I guess Biden thinks highly of the USA's ability to deal with a country like China that tries to threaten the USA.

Oh I will agree he worded it badly. Americans love an 'emergency', 'threat', disaster', danger....

wo what Biden should have said is the USA can deal with the threat of imminent economic disaster.

instead of that they aren't the competition for the USA.

It was a little too cocky -- even for most Americans.

Biden is an out of touch idiot or a complete crook if he doesn't recognize China as the biggest threat to our economy and military to ever exist.

They've been robbing, stealing our technology and secrets for 30 years and we've been letting them.

Bidens son must have a sweet deal with China.

Oh my -- so you don't think the USA has the tools to be competitive with China -- now I'm getting worried when Americans stop with the -- we are the most powerful -- the most beloved -- nobody can get to us -- or is that just that way when Trump is President.

Its not a question of if the USA has the tools to be competitive. Trump is using those tools where no other President has made any serious effort to do anything but lip service.

Clearly Biden has a conflict of interest. Its not reasonable to expect Joe to bite the hand, holding chop sticks, that is feeding him. He could lose a tooth and his a$$ doing that !!!

Nah.

If he said China is not an IMMEDIATE military threat, I'd say he got a point right there. But he said China is "not competition" for the United States, which downplays the economical threat.

His comment draws criticism from both parties, and there is a reason why.

Lets be clear about what China's strategy is to become the worlds dominate power.

1) one belt one road

2) made in China 2025

3) 5G roll out

Trump's trade negations addresses all three. No President has ever done that. Quite the opposite, others have been willing to sell the USA out or turn a blind eye with some lip service.

Sleepy Joe Biden may act in his own best interest ( we have seen politicians do that quite often ) but he will never act in America's best interest on China. The number one threat to America is China. They don't want a military war. They want to dominate and dictate through winning the economic war.

So, we are in a trade war because Trump feels threatened. All righty then. The story evolves....

Tax,tax, tax........the silver bullet to fix every issue.

Trump hasn't not gotten anywhere with China.

Nothing has changed.

Promises...promises...promises.

No other President talked about it as much -- and yes Presidents over they years have tried to work 'with' China to maximize USA interests.

Trump just yells about it more.

He hasn't been anymore successful than anybody else with any of this trade talk.

He just hasn't.

And you all know it. Lots of hot air........

In an interview with NBC affiliate WIS-TV in South Carolina, the former vice president laughed at the suggestion he didn’t understand China’s economic and military might.

“I never said China’s not a threat. I said we can, if we invest the right way, we can defeat China in every way,” Biden said. “I'm the guy that told the Chinese that when they set up these air defense zones, we’re not going to pay attention. We're gonna fly right through them … China understands that our problems are negligible compared to what they have to face.”
