3 for 3 now! Only 23 more to go. Maybe the states that have introduced it will just let it fade away and not vote on it. Just wasting your money and time trying to FORCE loyalty to a foreign country on US Citizens.

I forgot about this, waste of money by those states. Next up is the states and federal government withholding funding from companies that support the boycott of Israel. These congressmen forgot in what country they reside.

That is an interesting statistic, now it makes sense.

Except it's a lie, using the antisemitic canard questioning Jews' loyalty.

Those are simply the number of Jewish senators/congressmen. Antisemites like to pretend that every American Jew holds Isrseli citizenship.

P.S. I thought liberals were opposed to bigotry.

Why would a deep Red State like Texas ever subscribe to such a law in the first place?

I always thought they were into "freedom" - freedom meaning freedom of commerce, of course!

It's obvious why NY, CA and PA may have been pressured into it (large Jewish populations), but what excuse does SC and TX have?

This is one thing most all decent Americans can agree on. Boycotts helped Civil Right big time in the South and elsewhere. Conservatives are always threatening boycotts (which I support), although they never seem to be able to control themselves enough to actually stop using all those liberal products and services. Still, at least they give it lip service.

It will only happen when the Rapture crowd dies down. The GOP, as always, tried to look for an advantage in ANYTHING...they could use as a wedge.

Peak Israel among most Jewish Secular people (of which I count myself) ended a generation ago. We used to fill cards with quarters and dime to plant trees there. About 35 years ago I figured that money was for bullets so I stopped giving.

I support Israel like I support all humans. Same with the USA.

Obviously you should be able to boycott anybody you want to boycott and not be put upon to swear oaths of loyalty to a foreign nation. When that becomes debatable you've landed squarely in coo-coo crazy town. Israel demands special treatment through gangster diplomacy and internal corrupt self-dealing in American politics (ie; the "Israel-firsters)
