The problem is Trump lies almost 20 times per day.

Then the news media reports what he states, simply because when the president speaks it is considered by default newsworthy. "Trump says ... " " Trump replies ... " etc. The media automatically reports what Trump states in a headline whether it is factual or not. If the media addresses the veracity of the statement at all, it is paragraphs down from the headline.

Most people see a lot of headlines and read few of the articles in depth. The headlines feed confirmation bias of people who give Trump the benefit of the doubt.

Repeating what Trump says without fact checking him is our greatest source of fake news. Many are mislead by it.

Now the ghost writer of his book has come forward and spilled the beans on him. Trump wanting him to write all his story, but knowing the truth as it was happening. Eventually you will see the whole fraudulent life Trump was / is still living.

And it is not just about the fact that Trump lies...all politicians do - they say what they think we want to hear. It is that he creates this whole fake story about those lies.

In Florida, he said Puerto Rico got 90 billion - they got 11...he implied that he wasn't going to let THOSE Puerto Ricans take away from what Florida needed.

So folks interviewed on the way out are resentful that Puerto Rico got all that money.....and they think it was the Democrat who gave it to them.

It was a Republican House and Senate and they didn't get all that money -- they haven't even gotten all the money they were promised.

It's disgusting to misrepresent the situation like that.

I have no problem with him talking about looking after Florida -- but he doesn't have to create this whole divisive situation of us vs. them. It isn't necessary -- and it isn't true. Does he mean to be such a nasty, vile person or is he so simple minded that all he can do is it make them vs. us, no in between and that there always has to be a bad guy.

After Trump, Biden looks like a refined gentleman -- lol.

Thing is -- while Trump's base HATES Obama -- the swing voters, the independents may not...and Biden's friendship and working with Obama will not have the impact you are hoping for.

Obama policies aren't what made Clinton lose. Clinton made Clinton lose. She is one of the most polarizing political figures we have had & combine that with the whole e-mail scandal, and her failing to focus more on three key states (where Trump won by a total of less than 80,000 votes -- hardly a landslide).

Chanting your biased views over and over and over doesn't make them come true.

Yep. And Bill tried to get her to do that, but she stupidly didn't listen....thinking Bill was out of step, and that Robby Mook, etc. had the answers.

Do not have time to wade through several pages of responses so will just come out with it; unless democrats come up with something quick DT (or another GOP candidate) will win WH next year.

Remember people were howling and raving about Obama in 2012, and yet he *still* won re-election.

Leaving all the extraneous noise about DT aside facts on ground are thus far favorable to DT and GOP going into 2020.

Unemployment is at record lows. The economy is booming, this despite DT/GOP's tariffs, insane tax cuts (ok, reform), and other efforts everyone was sure would cause another recession. DT has taken on China and other foreign nations, the illegal immigrant lobby, excess government regulation and so forth.

Persons may quibble with any or all of the above, but bottom line is despite all the predictions when the guy was elected the sky hasn't fallen, sun still rises in the east, and the lamb hasn't opened the seventh Seal.

Am no huge fan of His Orangeness, but again just don't see anything thus far that gives democrats any hope of beating an incumbent POTUS, something historically very difficult to achieve.

Worse the DNC is in total disarray. It behaves like fractions of warring tribes rather than a cohesive unit which is what they need to have a hope of ousting DT in 2020. Long as loons like AOC, Bernie Sanders and their followers keep steering the democrat message to extreme far left things don't look good.

Another not so favorite person, Madam Pelosi is quite correct; if democrats do not stay center and find some concrete messages to get behind, it will be 2016 all over again.

You should start a side business.

Have 'The Maniac' as part of the name of the business.

And you could use variations...'The Maniac'....Orange Maniac....Tangerine Maniac....etc.

Create some images that get the point across without violating any Trump copyrights, and without even using his name.

You could use tag lines from some of your posts....and come up with more .

Put them on shirts, mugs, etc.
