Is there any doubt now that they see Mueller's job was to investigate for impeachment purpose. He sees Mueller's job all along was to find cause for impeachment. The Job of SC is not one where he is to act as a branch of congress and investigate for congress. Talk about overreach and abuse.
Democrats on this committee are not acting in good faith.
.
If true Mueller -- a Republican -- was investigating "for impeachment purposes," maybe we should consider why (and add it to the long list of reasons so many Americans want Trump gone)...

Mueller is an American lawyer and government official who served as the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 2001 to 2013, graduate of Princeton University and New York University, Mueller served as a Marine Corps officer during the Vietnam War, receiving a Bronze Star for heroism and a Purple Heart. He subsequently attended the University of Virginia School of Law. Mueller is a registered Republican in Washington, D.C., and was appointed and reappointed to Senate-confirmed positions by presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

Mueller has served both in government and private practice. He was an assistant United States attorney; a United States attorney; United States assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division; a homicide prosecutor in Washington, D.C.; acting United States deputy attorney general; and director of the FBI. Mueller was also a partner at the D.C. law firm Wilmer Hale before being appointed as special counsel.

In Trump's defense? Fewer and fewer officials who haven't quit, gone to jail, and/or MAGA hatters who remain Trump supporters no matter what happens...

And when Mueller fails to deliver the “smoking gun” that causes Trump to be removed from office, then you will turn on him as well

D. Cedric Richmond makes the case only democrats are for democracy. Only those who are in agreement with them are for democracy. It must be their way or no way. All others are for something else but it can't be democracy.
If A.G. Barr would just joint the democrats and agree with them the proceeding wouldn't be taking place.

Don't be distracted by the nonsense and garbage thrown out there by the staunch Trump disciples on this forum. Mueller explains exactly why he investigated Trump's actions. Its right there on pages 1-2 of Volume II where Mueller states as follows:

"[w]hile the OLC opinion concludes that a sitting President may not be prosecuted, it recognizes that a criminal investigation during the President's term is permissible. The OLC opinion also recognizes that a President does not have immunity after he leaves office. And if individuals other than the President committed an obstruction offense, they may be prosecuted at this time. Given those considerations, the facts known to us, and the strong public interest in safeguarding the integrity of the criminal justice system, we conducted a thorough factual investigation in order to preserve the evidence when memories were fresh and documentary materials were available."

Congressman Johnson from Georgia admitted "How can we Impeach if we don't have the paperwork?"

It's all about stopping Barr and starting Impeachment Proceedings against Trump.

Of course Barr will say that Trump invokes executive privilege. Barr is Trump's lapdog. I would expect nothing less from him. A good attorney general would actually work for the citizens of the country, not be the administration's yes man. But this is what we have now.

There are no hissy fits. Just Congress trying to get the information they need to make an an informed decision.

D. Hakeem Jeffries uses one of the dumbest ideas yet. List all the republicans like Comey who are involved as if all republicans are Trump supporters or should be. We all know that's BS.
