So then are you not having children? Are you taking yourself out of the equation for the benefit of the Earth?
Or are you advocating forced sterilization of people? Who gets to decide who stays and who goes?

Unless you have thought all that out then this is just a platitude and solves nothing...assuming something needs to be solved.

Reality, based on science, is the opposite of that asserted by you and your ilk.

Instead of the Industrial Revolution causing global warming, global warming, i.e. the emergence from the "recent" Ice Age, has enabled the Industrial Revolution, as well as most of the progress made by humanity in the last 5K years.

You guys got it Bass Ackward, and I, for one, am not at all surprised.

Of course, I operated under it on a Nuclear-weapon-capable platform. I can neither confirm nor deny the actual presence of any weapons at any given point in time.

MAD has to do with destroying geopolitical entities, i.e. countries, NOT the planet or even all of mankind.

I am glad some posters are providing good, factual, even-handed information on the issue of climate change.

City data should always be a place for thoughtful, diverse, intellectual discussions about various issues.
