I wonder if those involved on this survey took a look inside this forum? It certainly appears that the more conservative one leans, the higher the rate of scientific illiteracy.

Quote:
Americans also appear unusually prone to climate-related conspiracy theories, the YouGov data suggests. A total of 17% of those polled agreed that “the idea of manmade global warming is a hoax that was invented to deceive people”.

Belief in this conspiracy theory, which was previously invoked by Donald Trump, who falsely claimed climate change was made up by China, increases with age and also conservative political ideology. A total of 52% of Americans who described themselves as “very rightwing” to YouGov insisted global warming was a hoax.

In Europe, fewer than one in 10 people across the major countries surveyed thought the climate was not changing or not changing owing to human activity.

The Guardian?

Haha.

They are a completely disgraced rag these days. They've been caught red handed making stuff up and printing it as fact. Now they print some tripe about the citizens of the United States not based on anything but political agenda.

In this case it's a broad based negative generalization against 166,400,000 people. Can't believe anyone would believe that.

The earth heats and cools periodically.

That’s all anyone needs to know.

Until ****bag Dem murderers acknowledge that a child in the third trimester has a fully developed cerebral cortex, and is a self-aware being, they have no business labeling anyone as scientifically illiterate. Dems hide behind scientific illiteracy to justify murder.

Not saying you. You seem good.

As for global warming, yeah, in America we have these things called freedom of thought and freedom of speech. They have been virtually stamped out in Europe, where you can go to prison for speaking out against globalist polices, but despite the best efforts of Democrat cowards, they linger here, and when we see the news stories in which "scientists" are caught falsifying data and discussing it in e-mails, we are allowed to understand that we are being lied to. You and yours will do nothing about it.

In other news, water is wet.

This cesspool of a forum is a prime example of the problem we have with anthropogenic climate change theory denial.

So maybe the slogan for the next Democratic presidential candidate should be: MAKE AMERICA SMART AGAIN.

That's a quick way to lose all the AOC votes. Then again, it's not like democrats have a chance of winning anyway.

What difference does it make anyway? The USA is heads and tails above anyone else on this planet in addressing climate change. Every man, woman, and child here does NOT have to believe it or give a rats ass about it.
