Bolton has always been a war hawk, he was way back when, he is now.

I blame that mustache, has to be it.

Bolton never met I war he didn't want to start. So much for swamp draining and avoiding foreign entanglements. Mark another down for "promises made, promises kept".

Doubtful- Trump has always said (even prior to politics) that he opposes the continued overseas interventions of the US.

It is highly doubtful that Trump will engage in a new conflict (unlike previous presidents), as he has always opposed such measures in the past.

Trump is more in favor of the Reagan method- using proxies to do our dirty work.

Were you frightened by Clinton's or Obama's Neo-Cons?

I'm guessing you don't remember Clinton's #1 Neo-Con Anthony "Tony" Lake.

Lake was Obama's foreign policy advisor during the 2008 Campaign, and Obama had a half-dozen Neo-Cons on his White House staff and on the NSC.

Bolton and Lake are two of the worse, with the absolute worst being William Kristol, but Bolton is more boisterous than most.

Let's See....
  • Has Trump Started ANY new "Wars of Choice" like Obama/Hillary that got 10s of 1000s killed?
  • No you say. Trump is against such war.
He's doing what we elected him to do.

Case Closed

MAGA!

They don't care. If it's an R its horrible, if it's a D its fine with them no deeper thought required. (We have some the other direction around here as well.)

So far, Bolton hasn't been as much of a dangerous influence as people have feared. Fingers crossed things stay this way.

If it were up to Bolton, we'd be at war with both Venezuela and Iran right now.
