When is the last time you heard about both houses of congress actually working on any bill before it?
They are all so wrapped up in this investigation crap, that everything else is a forgotten issue.

I think it is high time they got back to doing the work they were voted in to do.

Bob.

Their top priority is getting rid of the uninvited guest.

Last I heard, they were coming together to vote themselves a raise.

Given their lack of work and their pathetically low opinion ratings, maybe they should try to work on the COUNTRY'S business rather than their own pocket lining agenda. That goes for ALL of them, left, right, in between. They ALL suck!

The call for bi-partisanship is only mentioned when the Dems are in the majority....they are totally against it when they aren't.

Do you really think so? I seem to recall that Senate Majority Leader McConnell has been refusing to bring bills to the floor (even strongly bipartisan bills) since 2009. It's difficult to get things done if the Leader won't bring bills to the floor for consideration.

I'm not saying he is wholly at fault, but it's difficult to ignore the fact that he has a major part in the inaction of Congress.

“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; ..."

This is the work they were voted to do, and the oath they took.

Republicans took this oath as well.
