They want you to think it’s worth cheering for...

Listening to Republicans, it’s apparent they don’t have much respect for the intelligence of the American people.

Over 70 percent of Americans want a national health care system like every other developed country in the world has, but the GOP tells us that we just aren’t smart enough to make it work.

And it goes on to discuss the corruption and lies of the GOP concerning other issues such as a woman's right to choose, taxes, wages and the environment.

How the Republicans in Congress and the White House brainwashed ordinary blue collar Americans into believing they represent them and not the 1% business and social elites who own and control just about everything in this country is one of the greatest con jobs in our political history.

Health care, education, regressive taxes, etc. are policies that are reversible in the near term provided there is the political will to do so.

The bigger crimes are the demonetization of those holding different political viewpoints, the attack on the free press designed to get people to ignore it in favor of self-reinforcing but less credible sources, the destruction of US credibility internationally, and an open contempt for science and factual truths. Those are long-term wounds that are not easily healed and will hasten American decline.

It’s not just the Republicans doing that.

The Democrats became Republicans sometime during the 1990s when they abandoned ordinary Americans.

Today’s Democrats care more about transgender bathrooms and non-US citizens who are here illegally, then they do about ordinary Americans.

LOL.

Decline.

Rising employment and rising wages.
lowest unemployment in every minority sector in history.

heck of a decline. (I guess this is what Trump meant when he said we would get tired of winning)

It depends on what your ideology is. Most conservatives think a Christian theocracy will be an improvement over the system we've had. They believe it will preserve social order in this country and keep us strong. They believe people who don't conform to established societal norms as dictated by traditional Christianity are a threat to our society and therefore need to be forced to conform or dealt with. So in their eyes, this is the dawn of a new era.

If you support secular government, multiculturalism, and diversity, then yes, the writing is on the wall. It's time to start getting our passports.

No doubt about it.

As others may have noted, its a combo of Greed, Selfishness and ignorance...the GOP is definitely the cheerleading squad, tho, and is holding our collective heads under the water.

liberals say we should tax the rich mkore...then call the middleclass rich

liberals push for singlepayer..but wont answer two simple questions...1. guarantee the quality, we have all seen the dept of health horror clinics... and 2. where are you going to get about 5-6 trillion annually to fund it

the fascist liberals push 'Free" college, when 1) nothing is free, someone is always paying (unless you think these liberal professors will work for free)...and 2) sending some idiot to free college when he cant even read at the 5th grade level (and doesn't WANT to), just diminishes the value of a degree

The UK already offers its citizens quality single-payer healthcare and near-free college. If you want to disagree with policy, fine. But don't paint it to be an impossible dream when other countries have already realized it.

There’s no question that fundamentalist Christianity is a scourge on America. But even a stopped clock (Trump) is right twice a day. Trump, for all of his faults, is at least willing to take some action on the destructive trade policies that have been hurting this country for decades.
