He needs to win Florida, so I have to think there is some greater plan here.

Heh funny! Now you got Trumpers cheering illegals being released in non sanctuary city red states because they think it's "ownling libs" somehow. Real master level trolling there!

Well Trump offered to send the "migrants" to the Sanctuary cities of NYC, LA and San Fran where the dearly elected leaders claim to love them but he was threatened with law suits so where can he send them?

We are talking approx. 100,000 people per month that need housing, jobs, welfare, healthcare, education, etc.. Where are they supposed to go?

I don't know why Trump is sending them to the purple state of Florida. What is he trying to prove and since when is he afraid of lawsuits? I say send the "migrants" to the sanctuary cities and states and let them deal with them.

Then why does Trump insist on deciding where they should live? He might as well give them a bus ticket and let them go wherever they want.

Trump's aim is to place the refugees into Democratic areas - but Florida voted for Trump. Trump was thinking these are 'sancuary' areas - but neither area is.

FL has a GOP Governor and GOP controlled state government. The Republican governor is upset over this, to put it mildly. It's all over the news in the entire state of Florida. Trump thought he was only going to impact blue counties but there are a lot of Republicans and independents that are not happy with what Trump did to Florida. They see it as impacting Florida in general since the news is state wide.

DeSantis caught off guard by plan to bring migrants to South Florida - Story | FOX 13 Tampa Bay

The federal government plans to release hundreds of migrants into Broward and Palm Beach counties starting next week, blindsiding Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has been an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump’s efforts to crack down on illegal immigration. The Republican governor’s office said DeSantis was not informed of the plan

Trump tweet last month about considering releasing migrants detained at the border into mostly Democratic “sanctuary cities,” suggesting that liberals would be “very happy” to receive them. Broward and Palm Beach counties do not have sanctuary-city policies.

The complaint by FL politicians is (and FL politics is all GOP), that there is no plan whatsoever, except just ship them here and release them into the community.

Trump is just trying to follow the current laws. He's doing his best to help this poor undocumented workers find a better life for themselves, he's giving them their amnesty as it were.

I say, fill those coffers!
