Counties are not "winner takes all", which means every Republican vote counts in every county, including those which lean blue.
There are 250 000 registered "R"s in Broward country, and 340 000 independents (including myself). You would think it is unwise to treat them like they were your enemy.

Why not send illegal aliens to Dem-voting vicinities? Seems they'd be the most welcome there what with all the Dem drama about them just coming here for a better life.

They have to go somewhere. CBP is capturing over 100,000 illegal entrants per month now. There aren't enough facilities to hold them, so they have to be released into the US. They are given an asylum court date at which many never appear.
