Antisemitism is very bad in Europe right now. Not being Jewish, you probably aren’t paying close enough attention to know that. It is very bad here right now too. I have no problem acknowledging either one. I dont think that comparing body counts is very helpful. The fact that it is a global phenomenon, is pretty scary.

I would argue the people who it implicates though, and they ain’t the people on my political side of the aisle. Sure, maybe a few redneck congressmen on my side of the aisle, but for the most part it is the media and the left who created “Trump the antisemite.”

It is a fictional character that never existed until he announced he was running for the presidency. Even though all the evidence points to the contrary, many of the leftists even believe their own manufactured nonsense at this point because its been so long they forgot they manufactured it in the first place.

And the far right antisemites have not had anyone in a position of power during most of their lifetimes. They will gladly accept a fictional antisemite as a leader, over no antisemite at all. They are willfully suspending disbelief to believe in the fictional character that guys on your side of the political aisle created for them.

Or maybe they are just dumber than rocks. The guy has an orthodox Jewish daughter and son in law. I think every one of his grandchildren are Jewish. He keeps doing everything he can for Israel, and these idiots keep following him because someone hammered into their head that he is an antisemite, and they want it to be true so much that they are blind to reality.

I never posited that Trump was an anti Semite. Not once. Hell, I didn’t even mention Trump.

Hell, would it even matter to you if Trump was anti any other group as long as he isn’t anti Jewish?

I never said YOU called Trump antisemitic.

You said that I don’t acknowledge anti semitism in America because it implicates people on my political side of the aisle. I first responded by correcting you in that I do acknowledge it. Then I explained why it’s rise implicates people on your side of the political aisle.

Is that a fact? So those marchers in Charlottesville and the synagogue shooters were liberal Democrats?

Are you just gonna lapse into total absurdity on this topic? Because if so, lemme know so that there’s no wasted prolixity here.

What proof do you have that it implicates a party?

Muslims are much more likely to be democrats. They commit a high percentage of the hate crimes against Jews
In 2015 of the ~700 anti semitic hate crimes ~150 were identified by race. 120 were white, 30 were black.
Blacks overwhelmingly are democrats.

Those are the people you think I am refusing to acknowledge because they are on “my political side of the aisle”???

I guess I misunderstood you because THAT would be lapsing into total absurdity. Not only have I acknowledged them, I called them inbred pieces of garbage, I think in this thread. In another thread, I said it would have been great if they accidentally lit themselves on fire with their tiki torches and we could watch them running around in agony. Is that “acknowledging” them enough for you?

FBI hate crimes:

https://ucr.fbi.gov/hate-crime/2017/...es/table-5.xls

2017 Hate crimes anti-Jew

Offenders: White 141, Black 26

That's roughly in line with the population ratios.

In 2015 it was 121/31
in 2010 it was 134/25
in 2005 it was 198/9

Extremists in both parties are trying to push propaganda that Republicans or Democrats are anti-jewish.

The reality is that there are just some a-holes out there that are a waste of oxygen and what is going on is neither anything new nor is it a "surge" due to Trump or Democrats etc.

It's getting a lot more media attention though, so it may *seem* more common, it isn't.

Yeah, ok. Blacks are the main tormentors of Jews in the United States. Got it.

Anyway, moving on.

I suspect that your implication of the left as anti Jewish has to do with one thing: lack of full and unqualified support for Israel.

Me? Guilty on that count.
