People who start in about "Trumps America" are lying about hate crimes against the LBGT community and helping cover up the worst offenders. They don't care though. They don't really care about LGBT, they care only about R\D and would round up every gay person they could if that meant victory for their political party.
For a loong loooong time in this country about half the hate crimes against gay men in this country are from black men...Trump must have been emboldening them since before he ever started running for office.
They even had an article on CNN about Trans men getting murdered. They tried to push "by whom" mostly under the rug but yet again it wasn't a white guy in a pickup with a gun rack.
Show statistics about any hate crimes. They are extremely, extremely low. They are very very rare.
There was a TG that was murdered last year. it was local. The only station that picked it up was local.
He/she was murdered by his/her spouse. Who was also a TG. Killed her/him, then started digging a hole in the backyard to bury the body. Had multiple conversations with neighbors while digging.
Imagine if that scenario was a hetero hub/wife. Lacy Peterson coverage all over. 24/7 CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, FOX et al.
But TG vs TG violence? Murder, grave digging, chatting up the neighbors? Nary a peep. I even checked one of the LGBT sites that tracks and lists all TG murders. Shockingly, this particular murder was no where to be found.

As a gay man, I don't believe this happened at all. The data shows that this sort of thing is extremely rare. However, the left believes it's happening every day. In their warped world, gay people are being harassed and strapped to fence posts daily, black Americans are being lynched weekly and immigrants are attacked openly. What sad people to live in such a fantasy world.

Most countries have laws preventing any discrimination on such grounds and I would have thought the US would have similar laws and legal enforcement bodies.
If you feel that you have been unfairly discriminated against in the UK then you can seek help from the Equality Advisory Support Service.
Whilst the UK Equality and Human Rights Commission will investigate, offer adVice to businesses and if need be prosecute.

All well and good, but the best method to assure equal treatment is to withhold money and take one's business elsewhere as well as spread the word. Unfortunately, most of these types of situations are hoaxes and have never happened at all. Again, this sort of thing is extremely rare, to begin with.
