Agree or disagree?

Would you be in favor of this: Currently 9 Justices on the Supreme Court.

Expanding it to 15 the 6 would be picked by 2 of the President's choice and go through the same rigamaroo as they have now. Republicans represented by Republicans from House and Senate would pick 2. The Democrats would pick 2.

Then pass a new law that there has to be 11, 13, or 15 Justices on the Supreme Court.

No. That is ridiculous. Once you start packing the court it is going to snowball and we’ll end up with a Supreme Court of hundreds of judges. Funny how this was never a discussion during the previous administration when we were blessed with two extremely unapologetic activist judges, including one who has said her wisdom matters more than the constitution or legal precedents. You think conservatives were happy about that?

More for sure, but all picked according to the Constitution. The SC should operate more like the District courts. The 9th has 29 justices. The 5th, 17. Having more justices would help to keep political agendas out of their decisions as well as allow more cases to be heard. It benefits all ideologies.

Could always go the opposite do 5 or 7 just let the numbers dwindle down when the Justices leave

Could make it spicy have the 13 Circuits Dems and Republicans propose 2 Candidates then those living in those Circuits vote for the Justices.

Agree, what would be the purpose for doing so?

As it is currently, the Supreme Court agrees to hear about 100-150 of the more than 7,000 cases that it is asked to review each year.

More Justices, more cases per term?

Or what?

LOL!
Seems only the Fascist and Commies want that, only when the court becomes too Constitutionalist and not a Marxist.

Lightbulb Supreme Court to 11 or 15...

13 is a lucky number.

But 9 SC justices is plenty.

Maybe we should reduce it to 7.

This it reminds me of when i was a kid I used to play board games. There was alway one person who wanted to argue to change a rule when it would benefit them, even though we had played that way for years. Nobody liked playing with that guy and they just couldn't understand why.
