I don't accept the argument that female humans are a special sort of mammals that does not have a regular biological fertility cycle. Reading here, one gets the impression a monthly human cycle is a myth.

Regardless, there is really no excuse for women claiming that they are intelligent and capable, but when it comes to pregnancy, they know nothing and need months to figure it out.
Some believe that life begins at conception.

What about abortions performed at 12 weeks before the technology existed to detect a fetal heartbeat at 12 weeks? Those were okay in your opinion?

Sorry that you don't accept the reality that many women do not have a regular cycle, but that is a fact.
Google irregular menstrual cycle and there are many medical publications discussing it. There is even a medical insurance code for it.

Maybe learn a little more about human biology before you try to decide for another human what they should be allowed to do regarding their own medical decisions.

You like to pretend a lot of obviously true statements aren't true. This is another example. Men can get away with having a lot of sex, women are less likely to, probably because they are the ones who get pregnant. They tend to be labeled. See this thread and others as an example. No one even cares about the man's role in procreation in these cases, certainly not pro-lifers. It's about punishing women only, while men are free to have sex with whoever they want and get whoever they want pregnant. Some of you guys may think it's gross, but the same standards are not imposed equally. No laws are ever made controlling men's reproductive freedom. It's obvious, you just choose not to see it.
No. It's not obvious. Christina Aquilera is a has been pop star. She's your source for information?

Who are all these people congratulating men for sleeping around. Do they get awards? Is there an annual convention and a ceremony? You need to open your eyes to REALITY. What is going on around you, no what you are being told to believe is true.

Again: Don't know ANYONE who thinks sleeping around is something to be proud of. If these are the types of people you surround yourself with, get different friends.

Prolifer stance:
Men should wear condoms.
Men should have sex with women who have the same values that they have.
Do either of those? There is no problem.

I don't think any of the opinions that you post are based in reality. There's a lot of misinformation, propaganda, and stereotyping though.

And until that fetus reaches the point that it can live on it's own it is the womans choice if she will allow her body to be used as an incubator.

Explain why abortion was allowed to the point of "quickening" (feeling fetus move, usually 16-20 weeks iirc) at common law.
Explain the biology that dictated blacks were considered 3/5 of a person by law.

You've got to love the men on here trying to tell us about menstrual cycles. Their ignorance is full on display for everyone here. It's really rather amusing that they think they should be taken seriously.

You think it was biology that dictated that law? Well, bless your silly little heart.

LOL. Not only do you want to choose what happens to a womanís body, now you want to regulate menís sex lives. Good luck with that.

BC itself can cause irregular or absent periods and if it fails, a woman may not know she is pregnant within 6 weeks.

A "normal," healthy body will experience a regular cycle. But there are many reasons one's body can function abnormally and alter that.

You sound misogynistic. Unsurprisingly.
Malnutrition messes with more than reproduction, but abortion law should not be created around malnourished women's problems.

What's with the name calling! You sound like a mysogenist arguing that women are too incompetent to act on an unwanted pregnancy with 6 weeks.

It is a fact that human life is defined by a heart beat. Without a heart beat, people are dead. It is a fact that a fetal heartbeat can be detected at 6 weeks. That is nothing new.

Instead of recognizing that abortion prior to the existence of a heartbeat will ease the conscience after abortion, I hear so many excuses for why women are incapable of knowing that they are pregnant, and incapable of making a decision or acting on it once they are aware of pregnancy. Why so many excuses?
