This is what happens when people settle for any type of Democratic candidate without properly vetting them. You get people who will be complicit in some of the Republican's extremist agendas.

Which pro-choice Democrat can get elected in Louisiana?

Edwards was elected because his competitor was diaper Dave.

He has an uphill battle but he has improved the state. Hopefully he gets re-elected.

It is clearly time for a major upgrade from the SCOTUS on this subject. And with this carefully coordinated frontal assault on Roe, we might just get it.
I agree, strategically this virtually ensures some, if not many of these laws pass a SC challenge.

Why would the Supreme Court take this up again. They already decided decades ago.

If the Supreme Court takes this issue up, expect them to take up a number of these bills and address them all at the same time.
If the heartbeat is detected at 6 weeks, doesn't it mean we just couldn't hear it at 3 weeks? I planted a few seeds a month ago. Just today I saw tiny leaves growing out of the ground. What was it doing for the past 4 weeks?

Okay, Laurie that grew up in a large liberal American city that comes from a middle class background needs an abortion because she passed out at a party and can't remember anything that occurred after that. Now she's pregnant, and thinks her life is over. Well Laurie, if you didn't drink a couple shots then decided to hit the gravity bong you wouldn't be pregnant now would ya Laurie? You should feel like your life is over, it's all downhill from now on, you're a single mother and no man that earns a lofty income is going to want you, because you happen to be a 7 and although there's a lot of guys that make good money who'd love to be in love with you, they're not in the big city that you're so used to. Life's a ***** Laurie, get used to it. Just because you think you should get an abortion to save your future will only make any stupid fool act like spreading their legs isn't a big problem, people need to just mind their business, they hating because they not getting any. I aborted 10 kids already and I'm only 30.

Or as an infamous southern newspaper columnist would say:

"Delta is ready when you are."

Let Hollywood go back to filming everything in overtaxed, overpriced, over-unionized California. It was California's business hostile environment and high taxes that forced even liberal Hollywood to go elsewhere!!!!! To the point where even when a movie is SET in California they film in Georgia to pass it off as California! (Den of Thieves does a particularly poor job of passing off suburban Atlanta as Los Angeles.)
Yes because there are only 3 states to choose from.

What's going to happen is Toronto will be getting most of the films instead of Georgia and Louisiana. Louisiana filming took a hit a few years ago when they reduced the incentives. A lot of the filming shifted to Georgia. Now it'll shift to Toronto, which is a great place to do films.
