NO KIDDING!! i already knew that, but thanks for treating me like a five year old who has no clue about how the world works. i am 60 years old my friend, and economics has been a big part of my life for the last 50 years or so.

Maybe you should wait until our President has his products made in the USA before you criticize the other side for wanting overseas manufacturing.

Trade deficits are absolutely necessary in order to maintain the dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency. Trade deficits are a positive for the USA. When did Republicans go from worshippers of free markets and free men to protectionists?

If China was such a huge problem we should have signed the TPP.

Trump killed the bull market with his idiotic tariffs.

What is your take on the Triffin dilemma?

Or Ricardo’s Theory of Comparative Advantage?

Those with extensive knowledge of economics tend to steer away from protective tariffs.

I suggest Republicans read the column Milton Friedman wrote in 1973 for Newsweek. All his reasons for opposing tariffs on Japan apply to the issue with China today. That was back when most of the protectionist agenda came from the Democrats. It’s scary how fast Republicans went from free markets to ignorant protectionists.

Seems so stupid and trite when someone just badmouths an entire group of people. Not very smart either to say that half the population is "not very intelligent." You might recall it did not work for HRC. It was not true when she said it about Trump supporters and it's not true when you say it about Democrats.

Opinion:

If Americans got together and sent back all Chinese made
products that seems to always break (everybody laugh)
China would sink into the ocean under all the failed weight.
