People like to talk about gang violence in America, well, the Brits invented that mess.
The War of the Roses gave us the origins of gang colors and equally nasty retribution for members of the wrong side.
Fast forward to the Troubles in Ireland, which are still considered current affairs.

Some of the apartment blocks in/around London, Manchester, Birmingham... are just as, if not more, dangerous than the worst parts of Chicago.
And again, they’ve been that way for generations.

For whatever reason, people want to pretend that violence is new in Britain.
It’s not new - they’ve just found new scapegoats to blame it on.
As if people would forget that their clan BS set the bar.
This post has got to be 'tongue in cheek'!? I mean are we really supposed to believe that the British invented 'violence'! lol, throughout history has the rest of the world really been living like peace loving hippy communes! , as for that part about British cities being more dangerous than the worst parts of Chicago! lol, doesn't Chicago have a worse murder rate than the whole of Britain put together? Also unlike many US cities there are NO 'no go' areas in UK Cities - accidently miss your stop on the tube? No problem you can get off at ANY stop on the underground in safety, there is no accidently wandering into 'the wrong part of town' in London.

No religion is compatible with those things. Religion is incompatible to reason.

Yes because Great Britain with it's largely unarmed police force, one police shooting last year and low murder rate is so violent compared to the US.

I think some people need to get a passport and visit a few countries outise the US.

Knife crime has starting to fall again in areas such as London, although there were only 132 murders in London last year, which is not bad for a city of 9 million, whilst according to A&E data (known as ER in the US) fewer people are actually being injured in violent attacks.

Stabbings and murders plummet in London as police hail stop and search - The Independent (May 2019)

Fewer people injured in violent attacks - A&E data study - BBC News ( April 2019)

Scotland's homicide rate is now the lowest since 1976. There were only 59 homicides in Scotland last year, of which around 34 involved knives, whilst Northern Ireland had a total of 19 murders.

Scottish homicides at lowest level since 1976 - BBC News (October 2018)

Scottish homicides at lowest level since 1976 - BBC News

19 people murdered in Northern Ireland since 2017

The last figures available for England & Wales was 726 homicides in the year ending March 2018. However, recent trends in homicide are affected by the recording of exceptional incidents with multiple victims such as the terrorist attacks in London and Manchester, and events at Hillsborough in 1989. If these are excluded, then the number of homicides increased by 89, or 15%, from 606 to 695.

The last homicide figure available for the entire UK is 773, which is not bad for a country of 66 million, and per capita Britain has a very low homicide and serious crime rate.

England and Wales had 695 homicides , scotland had 59, NI had 19, making 773 in the UK (Population 66 million) including 285 stabbings in England & Wales in relation to a population of over 58 million people.

London a city of around 9 million, with 3 million daily commutters and 20 million foreign visitors had 132 homicides last year.

Compare this to US Cities, such as Baltimore with a population of 600,000 which had 342 murders, whilst Chicago a city of 2.7 million had 555 homicides last year, and the pattern is repeated in numerous other US Cities. If you add Chicago and Baltimores homicide rate together you have more murders in those two ncities than the entire UK and even if you add the 77 homicides in Ireland and include the entire British Isles with a population of over 70 million, it still has less murders tha Chicago and Baltimore wth a collective population of around 3.3 million. There are also plenty of other US Cities that are extremely violent.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offer some interesting figures and an interactive state by state map of homicides in the US.

FastStats - Homicide - CDC

Stats of the States - Homicide Mortality - CDC

As for history, I thinki you will find nations have been fighting for thousands of years, and it's not unique to any one country.

Islam is incompatible with all countries and societies, even itself, as seen in the 1400 year, never ending battle between Sunnis and Shia, and everyone else. 95% of all Terrorist groups on the planet, in almost every country, are Islamist for a reason
