Just to be clear, you're saying you don't believe in 100% choice, correct?

And I'll say it again, abortions should have greater restrictions as the development increases, but ANY TIME the mother's physical health is in jeopardy, abortion should be an option. Unusual situations like rape or incest should be considered. Severe birth defects should have options. First trimester unrestricted.

It's amazing how many on the left would refuse such a middle ground.

Yes, there are those on the right that are extreme to the opposite extreme.

We do. First trimester up to the woman. Second trimester regulate, but not outlaw, with interest in maternal health, third trimester state can regulate or outlaw abortions in the interest of the potential life except when necessary to preserve the life or health of the mother.

We should, but the conservative Christian idiots running the show will not allow it. That's why it's poetic justice: if a girl is is raped or a victim of incest and the child is severely malformed genetically because of the consanguinity then if the state is irresponsible enough to force the girl to give birth the state should assume the overwhelming costs for talking care of it for life. When the financial/medical costs of taking care of these children push the states to bankruptcy then maybe they'll rethink their position.

I am saying that after viability no elective abortions.

Why is this so hard to understand? Every right has exceptions. I'm fine with Roe as it stands that is the middle ground. The left is not trying to change that.

Great. I'm gald we can agree that there shouldn't be complete choice.

Don't forget about the idiot liberals who want essentially unregulated abortions.

I never said that anyone should be allowed to have an elective third trimester abortion. You are the one claiming that that is what I and many on the left want, yet you can't show one law that has been passed by anyone on the left to allow this.

What about in NY where they got rid of protections for babies born alive after botched abortions?
