Classic Trump to give the impression they are building at full steam, when nothing is being done.

What did he do with all the money he stole from the military?

Trump has tried, but the Dems and even a few Repubs refuse to do anything to secure the border. It's a good talking point to them, but nothing more.

The left-wing open borders crowd and the "right-wing" big business cheap labor crowd aren't having it.
THIS.
Trump tried. He gets an A from me on this issue.

Why? He is the most dishonest president we have ever had. He stole $8 billion from us to pay for it and it hasn't even been started, nor will it ever be. It's stealing, because Congress refused to fund it multiple times and even the majority of the American people were against paying for the thing.

But, yea...them pesky facts.....
Rofl. I know the truth too, but by God it’s just plain entertaining to watch this sewing circle here mince over falsities all the same.

The Wall will continue to march toward completion whilst progressives simultaneously claim that it isn’t happening.

Kinda like putting your hands over your ears and singing loudly when you childishly don’t want to hear something.

You cannot stand there and say "e-Verify doesn't work" and not try to improve it. It's cheaper than building huge walls.

You could say "well, it's not perfect, but we'll start with e-Verify, and anyone hiring people who don't pass will be fined" and that would most definitely be a step in the right direction... one that signaled an actual intent to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, but you'd also have to not be in the pocket of business, which we know he is.
Not all illegal aliens are coming here to work. Certainly criminals and terrorists aren't, thus the wall. How many times do I have to repeat that? As long as there is birthright citizenship for their kids they will still come without the job incentive. Better to deter as many illegal aliens that we can at the border with good physical barriers than to allow them to get into our country in the first place where they are much harder to weed out and more expensive to do so.

I am all for an improved e-verify however which should be mandated in every work place. Not sure how it would stop them from working for cash though.

You know no such thing that Trump is in the pocket of businesses at least not anymore than the Democrats are. It still doesn't negate the fact that we need to secure our border of which he is trying to do.

Go see for yourself.

It is much more than 1.7 miles of additional wall. Redoing hundreds of miles of ineffective walls in major trafficking areas.
Most areas just need a huge round pipe welded to the top, that was not there before.

On March 26th The Pentagon announced $1B had been assigned to build The Wall.
On May 21, Bloomberg reports that not much is finished yet. Then they whine because Customs and Border has not returned their after hours phone call.

Hahaha. You mean it’s not entirely built yet? They’ve had sixty goddamn days!

What? You mean Jim AccostedHer lied when he went down to Texas and stood next to the barrier?

Replacing what previous administrations had put up, essentially chicken wire, with more effective bollard type walls is a helluva lot more effective. Essentially new walls in comparison.
