It's nice Amazon execs think this is funny.

Ice-T says he came close to shooting an Amazon delivery driver after mistaking him for an intruder.

Following the incident, the rapper, 61, suggested on Twitter that the tech company should make their employees wear uniforms to help identify them.

Delivery people for any company should be easily identifiable; customers should be able to say "Ah, it's the pizza guy" or "Ah, it's my Amazon package".

So this guy would shoot someone for trespassing? I am an advocate of personal defense however I know of no state in this country where shooting a trespasser would be legal for the act of trespass alone. You have to be in fear for your life or the lives of others. Some dude walking up the driveway with an Amazon box does not seem to meet the test.

Maybe Tracy Marrow (aka Ice T) should seek out firearms training in order to be a responsible gun owner. I've had trespassers on my property and none have been "almost shot".

Don't blame him for being jumpy.........the juice you gain for offing a rapper is pretty huge.

You can't train the 'stupid' out of people. If he publicly admits to almost shooting an Amazon delivery guy ...he's stupid beyond measure.

This guy is paranoid for sure. Maybe fall under one of those red flag laws? Dude almost shot a simple delivery person. Uniform or not should not matter, it could be anyone coming up for a reason, and unless they display some sort of threat, merely coming up to deliver something or even ring the door bell is not a reason to almost shoot someone.

if he Almost Shot, that means to me:

1. he had a gun.
2. it was loaded.
3. the safe was off.
4. it was aimed.
5. finger on trigger.

6. did not pull trigger.

You certainly know how to simplify a dangerous situation with this!

7. Get's to keep his "responsible" gun owner card.

About 2 years ago a car pulls up in front of my house and this gorgeous young woman gets out. She's very dressed up too.

Walks up to the door and hands me my Amazon package....

Ice -T has a point about them carrying some sort of identity stuff but then again, that's pretty easy to fake unless it's something like an entire vehicle etc.
