AG Barr already has most of the information. I think the timing has a lot to do with the IG Horowitz Report - Barr will have final authority over what is redacted. Previous reports allowed FBI, CIA & IC to have that authority.

Watching Tucker and they broke in to announce Trump has told Barr he has authority to declassify anything he deems worthwhile in the Spygate investigation and that all intellligence agencies should fully cooperate.
