This isn't some new idea.

Argue against it if you wish but this has been going on for a long time.

Trying to justify voting Democrat I see.

I don't feel sorry for anyone in California who votes Democrat. The poor independents and Republicans, now those people I feel bad for.

They are in a competition with Illinois...

Have the availability of tax sheltering options ever stopped California Democrats from passing new taxes?

Seriously, why do you think Illinois and New York are having budget problems right now?

I agree. Think it would force a lot of wealthy out of the state.

But then who would support the tax base since it's propped up overwhelmingly by the wealthy in California?

It's almost like no one actually thought this one out.

Uh, one of my favorite things to post is taxation is theft. You just weren't paying much attention. I don't hide my libertarian leanings. See, unlike you, I am not partisan when it comes to taxation.

Yes, bust out the checkbook and start writing those tax checks. Illegal aliens in California aren't (and never have) going to pay for themselves.

The “death tax” is a Republican term for the Inheritance Tax. An inheritance tax is absolutely necessary to prevent the formation of a permanent aristocracy.

Unless you are a member of the billionaire club, you should absolutely support the inheritance tax, which limits the amount of money that billionaires can pass on to their children.

I’m no billionaire, but I abhor the thought of a person’s already-taxed money being taxed again. It’s theirs. They should be able to use it (or not) any way that they choose. Inheritance taxes are nothing but a grotesque Robin Hood wealth redistribution scam.

As long as we have a thing known as the Federal Reserve one can not really consider anything theirs. When they print, print, print, one can not really always argue they earned anything.
