I find that step interesting, it is a slap in the face of the president.
There is a kind of war going on between democratic institutions such as the supreme court on the one side, and the new government on the other.

I don't get the whining about supposed freedoms. Anyone can think whatever they please, they just can't say it or act on it. And that is exactly the goal in order to protect those minorities.

Again, what is the problem? You are free to hate homosexuals as much as you want. You merely can't say so.
Nobody controls your mind in Brazil, nobody knows what you are thinking with or without that law.

Homosexuals lead a difficult, dangerous life in Brazil (probably much more so than in Russia), which is full of radical retards, who after all made Bolsonaro president.
