Yep, you guys would love them to start impeachment before investigating because it would weaken their case. Pelosi is going to make damn sure that they've done their due diligence in their investigations first and not fall into that trap. But you know that, it scares you to death.

Yea, maybe you missed the last 2+ years...there was a very large and on-going investigation....

Oh, and you really believe that congress....is going to find something that 19 lawyers, who knows how many FBI agents, 2 of the top agents in the United States is going to find something all those agents worked on for 2+ years...really? WOW....

Scared, of what? that congress is going to find something all those agents could not? What is nadlers background?

Graduated law school in 1978, been in congress now since 1992....when was his last court case? Has he kept up with all the new laws? And you really think he is smarter and going to find something than the top 2 agents in the United States....

Just admit it, you and the house thought Mueller was going to bring trump down....

You keep pushing this false narrative that the Mueller investigation found nothing. Don't be disingenuous.

Nothing could be further from the Truth, but you need to say this to give a false impression about how and why Trump is being investigated in the first place.

It doesn't work no matter how many times you repeat it.

The rest of the world, even you in private. Unless perhaps, if you did not read the Mueller report.

It's not a false narrative, if it was, Mueller could have very clearly laid down a very straight path with who, what, why, when, and where....yet he did not....

Again, did he find "things", of course....did they meet the threshold of breaking the law....nope....

Yes, you very well that repeating it over and over does not work....we heard Russia collusion for how many years...and what do we have...nothing...like it or not....

You keep misrepresenting Mueller's assigned task. He did establish that Russia broke our laws and interfered in our election. He did establish that Trump covered it all up (or attempted to). The big question (for me) is 'why did Trump do it?' ... ''if Trump is so innocent why did he cover up the Russian incursion into our sovereign affairs?'.

If you are really interested in the 'who, what, why, when, and where' we shall have the 116th congress look into it. The congress is not limited by Department of Justice regulations.

If you guys only knew what goes what a joke Capitol Hill has become.

The most recent polling data from April 2019 puts the approval rating of the United States Congress at only 20 percent.

thats up from 17%

LMAO, they're clowns.

He established nothing of the sort. He provided nothing whatsoever to support this novel "cover-up" claim that I have never heard anyone else make.

Joe Biden in 1995 praised Barr as one of the best attorney generals. Politics is so stupid

Joe Biden is a centrist, like many (probably most) Democrats.

Barr at the time was clearly (in hindsight) corruptible, but not yet obviously corrupted. A lot of people had a favorable impression of him.

The first signs of Barr's corruption was shown when he successfully helped George H. W. Bush avoid being investigated for his part in the Iran-Contra scandal, basically by advising Bush to pardon the perpetrators. (It's not his job to help a president escape justice. It's his job to see that justice is done in all cases on behalf of the nation.) I don't know if Biden was fully aware of Barr's involvement in that decision. Nonetheless, if Barr was perceived to have done a good job running the Justice Department that is what people will have commented on.

It says a lot that a notable member of one party can compliment the work of a member of another party. It reflects on some higher ideals that seem to be missing in our nation today.

The situation is different with Barr now, the man is actively opposing the work of congress by refusing to testify, lying about the Mueller report in elaborate stagecraft productions and obstructing the constitutional role of congress to oversee his office and the entire executive branch. Anyone who knew Barr in the 1980's and also now would see he is playing a new more dangerous game. The risks he has taken on are huge, and he owns his actions 100%. As the nation's top law enforcement officer he can not hide behind an excuse like "the president made me do it", he is expected to know better (The 'more Trump than Trump' AG Sessions knew this fully well).
