I am surprised none of the regular black posters on this forum have not commented yet.
Was that the intention? To bait the black posters, or do you actually care about the goings on in SA? I highly doubt it.

We’re not capable of helping militarily anyway. Do US troops really want to fight a guerrilla war on African soil? You and I both know that THAT would end disastrously. That’s too far from home to even contemplate.
This thing is beyond our purview. Only the UN can help. It’s out of our hands.
Nonsense. If they hadn’t changed their form of government, they would’ve faced a much worse fate. They saved their lives by getting rid of Apartheid. Whites were sitting on a powder keg of their own making. 4 and a half million whites can’t control 25 million blacks in perpetuity.
We don’t need to help anyone, and we won’t be helping either.
Interesting perspective.
So the SA government could not have held onto their form of government, or come up with an ever greater and more oppressive one to maintain control?
With their military and superior technology and weapons, if they wanted to put down an uprising, it was within their ability.
Remember this was not an alien power from half a globe away. It was their own country, and the white government could have taken a much more hardline approach.
I suspect they could have used horrible tactics, even if world wide condemnation for brutality was the result. Lets not forget SA had been doing well long before western nations decided to try to bring about and end to their form of government.
So for you to say "they" saved their lives, one wonders who you speak of, as the whites who are being killed now without consequence, are hardly better off.
Lastly, if we potentially get involved with countries like Syria for killing their own people (which we have not had any hand in), why would we not try to keep a disaster from occurring in SA, which we have have had a hand in.
I am not happy about South Africa's situation. There is alot of crime going on. It isn't safe for alot of people. And there are still racial tensions going on. South Africa has alot of corruption as well. South Africa needs to get its act together if it's to truly become the kind of nation it can be. I do suspect there are people who only talk about this stuff because they want Apartheid back in South Africa. The conservative element that wouldn't lift a finger when Blacks were the ones being directly oppressed under Apartheid, are suddenly complaining when it looks like Whites are having some problems. That tells me this isn't so much about White people being killed. This is about "see what happens when black people have freedom" for some people.

Were you unhappy about South Africa's situation? Where you in support of those protesting Apartheid? Were you for Apartheid? Or were you indifferent? I have to ask because many people who bemoan Black persons killing White farmers in South Africa didn't say a word when Blacks were oppressed during Apartheid.
In Rhodesia, the black majority confiscated land and ejected most of the white farmers. The net result was turning one of the richest nations in Africa to one of the poorest.
The same thing will happen in South Africa. The US could currently object to the killing of white farmers, but it is going to happen regardless of what we say. Both Zimbawe and South Africa will be prime areas for Chinese "investment", in which they end up owning most of the valuable assets.
The Chinese do not have the same qualms about colonialism that we, and most of the western European nations, now hold. Thus, they will end up owning a good chunk of Africa and its resources.
^^^^^This. And the oh so celebrated Mandela's supported tribal rapes, and murders when it was to their advantage politically. Nelson Mandela was an avowed COMMUNIST also, yet the Media promotes him as some kind of savior.

Aparthied is gone and blacks are in charge and the country is a mess, in fact, I don't know of one country that is in decent shape that is run by blacks.

There aren't any. They all devolve into Tribal Warfare and War Lords fighting over U.S. Aid that gets stolen and sold, or kept by these crooks. So, essentially our tax dollars are supporting and encouraging genocide.

And I for one am glad Apartheid is gone. Nothing you say will change that. And you didn't answer my question. Were you for apartheid, against it, or just didn't care?
I agree with the poster who opined that South Africa will go the way of Rhodesia.
