Probably because republicans, in general, are more supportive of cops.

It's like asking why LGBT tend to vote democrats.

The Fraternal Order of Police endorse state and local politicians.

In Illinois, the FOP endorsed Pritzker (D) over the incumbent Rainer (R) for Governor.

Policing and politics are local.

It's a common policy for cops to not display political affliations while they are on duty and in uniform, let alone displaying a political sticker on government vehicles. These government vehicles are funded by both Democrats and Republican voters

It's illegal to do so in our state, and I would imagine.... most states.

Opinions are not facts.

The one thing most inmates have in common is they never registered/ voted.

Yeah-putting criminals in prison definitely does disrupt their lives. Considering that their lives are based upon preying on innocent people-that is a good thing.

[QUOTE I was at a party where half the people were on welfare and voted Hillary and the other half had jobs and voted Trump.[/quote]

We’re there 365 million at this party?

Well, Republicans used to be regarded as the "law and order" party. Which is pretty funny if you think about Trump being the president with the most criminality associations ever. I think Republicans generally have a punitive mindset and like to fund the military and I can see why cops would like that.

Yet we have a supposedly Republican president who clearly doesn't believe in the rule of law.

By the way, flag burning is legal, in case you're behind the times.

That's an ironic thing to bring up. Hypocritical comes to mind too.
