Iraq was allegedly going to roll into Saudi Arabia after they invaded Kuwait and they called their lapdog, that being us to stop it.

I remember Bush Senior on the tv talking about spreading freedom and democracy and liberating Iraq.
Most people back then swallowed the propaganda hook, line and sinker. We now see through the BS.

Occupy's message to Obama.

"Mr. President: Over 4,000 peaceful protesters have been arrested while bankers continue to destroy the economy. You must stop the assault on our First Amendment rights. Your silence sends a message that police brutality is acceptable. Banks got bailed out. We got sold out."

The majority of the enlisted are among the lower class that do not benefit from the riches war brings.

You have some in the military in the middle and upper class, but most of those are officers, not enlisted.

Those who oppose the banks , high interest rates and the wall street are labelled democrats. or liberals. or worse anti semites. Read some of my posts and you will know.

To back this point.........18 years with no end in site. We didn't invade Pakistan.

Syria, Libya and Yemen was a mistake based upon lies also.

Al Queda was monetarily backed by half the Saudi Royals. There was a split in the kingdom on those who backed them and backed Saudi funded madrases with their Wahhabi doctrines and those against it.
Most of the people in Al Queda were drawn from those madrases to train in Jihad, a major pillar of Islam.

They say the Saudi Royal Family has been reformed but based on their record number of beheading lately, I would say it is business as usual. Speak out against the Saudis and it is off with your head, it has always been that way.

I don't disagree that they had S.A. funding. We funded them also.

You won't find me clamoring for the U.S. to support them.

Yep, which means it is a dog and pony show.
Had the Republicans been in power, it would have played so much better for the propaganda artists.
The politicians bank rolled by the finance sector were caught with their pants down, and as expected nothing was done.
At the political level, Dem and Pub politicians work for their deep pocket masters.

That is all so very true, and they would likely have a 21st century democracy were it not for the looming threat of U.S. military action, which helps keep their despotic regime in power. They are young, educated, and desperately wish to be a part of the civilized world without economic sanctions. Pres. Obama was facilitating this transformation before the neocons v.2.0 pulled the ole' switcheroo.

Which means nothing of the sort. Unless you are claiming this about claims from the majority of politicians
