In addition to lashing out at the Speaker of the House, against the backdrop of a cemetery where nearly 10,000 American war dead are buried, Trump also called Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer a “jerk” and former special counsel, a decorated war veteran, Robert S. Mueller III a “fool.” Everyone is a disaster, a jerk or a fool to the stable genius. Trump has this amazing ability to describe others with precisely his most notable characteristics. This man does not belong on any stage, let alone the world's. Why anyone still thinks our emperor has clothes, is beyond comprehension.

On the other hand we have Ms.Pelosi on the same hallowed ground, during an interview on the same day stating she would rather not criticize Trump while she is out of the country.

Hmmmmm let's see. Who appears to be the real statesman and patriot?
Yes, Trump managed to defile the D-Day celebrations. Next up, he wants to defile the 4th of July celebration from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. This man besmirches everything he comes in contact with. When he leaves the White House in 2021 they'll have to fumigate the place for several weeks to get rid of the stench.

So basically, you are just trying to reassure us all that you are just as ignorant about the role of a Representative as Trump is? (We already knew this).

It's funny, when I saw this interview, I wanted to laugh that Trump thinks that a US Representative is responsible for the laws in their own district. How stupid does a sitting POTUS need to be? The job title says it all, she is there to REPRESENT her district in the Legislative Process at the FEDERAL level.

Honestly, if you are going to start a thread about how great your America-hating leader is, you probably shouldn't do it by HIGHLIGHTING his, and your own lack of understanding about how our government was set up, and how it has worked for the last 240+ years. It really kills your point.

If you read the ACTUAL transcripts of the interview, you can see a bunch of rambling. You can see Trump start to make some points. Sometimes he'd realize how stupid his point was, and change course mid-sentence, othertimes he was too obtuse to even know, and he (like the example you so generously provided) kept on talking, to confirm his ignorance. It was about par for Trump.

And before you get your feelings hurt, ignorance is not an insult. It only implies that you and Trump are not fully informed on the subject. It's an objective statement, based on your OP.

If you get a chance, you might do a google search on the role of the Legislative Branch at State and Federal levels of government. It's really pretty cool.

I think someone is impressed with childishness and immature behavior displayed by an adult that lives in a White House.

Trump is not smarter than a 5th grader. (Even a fifth grader knows that a US Representative does not make local laws). I'd like to see Jeff Foxworthy put Trump up against any 5th grade class....

You are a victim of right-wing propaganda machine. The slurring of words was a doctored video, FAKE NEWS.

Interesting contrast to the adult Nancy Pelosi who refused to be drawn into politics when asked such a question during an interview in Normandy. She understood that such a sacred place and commemoration was not the place nor time for divisive politics. She knew that all the attention should be solely on the veterans that served and sacrificed.

I love how he blames Pelosi because he can't get the deal he wants done - -lololol.

He's like a two year old. It's her fault the great deal maker can't make HIS deal.

When Trump goes on his rants, he does more damage to himself.

Sure sure - -the base cheers him on but the moderates are like - oye can we just get rid of him.

Telling you -- I just about fell over from shock when I heard a die hard CONSERVATIVE say that he can't take anymore Trump. Just two months ago this same person was going on and on about how great Trump is -- now they are done. Tired of the shenanigans. I know -- just one person but the least likely person ever to jump ship out of the blue like that.

So let him rant and rage -- especially when he's over tired from an over seas trip - -it's highly entertaining.

Yup. Even the hysterical rants of a Commander in Chief who sounds like he's going over the edge.

Yes I saw that. Pelosi handled that well. And the contrast with Trump was like day and night.
