So market projections for the coming 24 hours is the equivalent of the hiring for all of May?

this is just as weak of a conclusion as "see, the economy is tanking" from those with TDS.

growth IS slowing. it's called a cycle. the rate starts up, picks up speed, then slows as it reaches a "natural" peak. eventually, it goes negative ie, the economy shrinks, as measured by GDP. When GDP goes down 2 quarters in a row, that's a recession.

of all the disingenuous statistics one could use, this one clearly shows your agenda.

with 40% of the population either under 18 or older than 65, what would you expect?

there are 5.8MM people unemployed.

So when trump said we were at 40% unemployment while he was running, did you believe him?

Why are they moving higher?

Could it be because indications of the slowing economy might encourage The Fed to lower interest rates?

“Hiring was weak in May as employers added 75,000 jobs, bolstering the Federal Reserve’s case for cutting interest rates as soon as this month, a possibility that has juiced markets in recent days.”

I can only hope that most of you are just arguing with the other sides partisans and using hyperbole etc. and are much more rational\sane in real life.

It is what it is. The LFPR is in the gutter. You are in denial.

On what facts are you basing your conclusion?

Is it possible that this escalating tariff on Mexico is causing a wait and see among CEOs. There are 700,000 boomers getting to retirement age every month. At least one third of the 700,000 are retiring from jobs.

"It's terrible"
I find it amazing that you could say that. I suppose you claim TDS or to be non partisan CPDS (Current President Derangement Syndrome) doesn't exist.

I could see you claiming it could be better.
I could see you claiming it is only a continuation of President Obama
I could see you claiming wage growth could be better... but
terrible?? come on.

Where I live (Long Island) if you are unemployed it is either because you don't want a job, are too picky or are unemployable.
