Let's do it for July 4th. Maybe Demented Don will even invite his besties Comrade Putin and Kim Jong Un and they could all play with the nuclear button. Fun for all!

Oh, so Hillary was the correct choice?

Default The angriest 4th ever

No bounds to this preening self-aggrandizement.

Trump Sets Off Fireworks of a Different Sort With Fourth of July Speech Plan
By Peter Baker

The mayor’s office in Washington said on Wednesday that it had been informed that Mr. Trump intended to address the assembled crowd from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial this year in a speech that would presumably be televised to the nation, a move that critics said would transform what has for decades been a nonpartisan, unifying event into a political rally for a divisive president.
“He can’t resist injecting partisan politics into the most nonpartisan sacred American holiday there is: the Fourth of July,” said Representative Gerald E. Connolly, a Democrat from suburban Virginia who represents many of those who typically attend the Independence Day events in the capital. He called it “part of a pattern of driving wedges between Americans and making himself the subject of attention.”
...“This is going to be the angriest July 4 ever."

If that fool gives a speech on the Mall in Washington D.C. he will be booed mercilessly. He'd better stick to Akron and Little Rock for his speeches.

Has the 4th of July been declared racist or sexist yet?

Sorry - who or what is OGP?

How about a historian? Certainly none of the people you mentioned.

Oh, no doubt. But remember, his rallies are attended by his supporters, who are likely vetted to make sure that they are indeed his supporters. "Rah-rah; you're the best; we love you, Trump!"

In this instance, when Joe and Jane American; who could be independents, uncommitted, or (horrors!) Democrats; come to enjoy the fireworks and the concert, and are subjected to a Trump rally, how do you think they will respond? Not well, I suspect, and Mr. Trump may well find that he is not as popular as he finds himself to be, when he speaks at one of his regular rallies.
